When I was a child, I wanted to be a vet. I loved animals, and probably I thought veterinarians snuggled with puppies all day. Maybe my dream changed when Honey was bitten and the dead skin our vet stapled back together on her body smelled like a horrible carcass... ick.
When I was a teenager, I took child development classes and taught preschool. I wanted to teach and play with kids all day long. Turns out, I did get my teaching degree but ended up teaching puberty-aged middle-schoolers with learning disabilities and behavior disorders. Which is much different that playing with preschoolers. But I love it anyhow.
